We are excited to announce the newest member of our team, Realtor® Jennifer Martinez. We got up close and personal with Jennifer and we know you’ll love her as much as we do!

 

1. Why Real Estate?

Real estate is a great career, I knew I wanted to be a real estate agent when I bought my first house here in Edmonton. I totally loved touring homes until I found the right one.  Seeing the friendliness of the realtor, and how patient he was with us, I knew I could do the same! I knew I could make other people’s life easier when they are looking for a property and I knew this job was for me! Now that I am a real estate agent, well…it is not as easy as I thought, but the feeling of giving the keys to the new owners, the feeling of telling my client the house is sold! Oh man! I can’t describe it! It is amazing!

2. What is your favourite part of the job so far?

Viewing homes with my clients! I learn so much about interior design, about what buyers want or don’t want in a house, it allows me to know my client better. And I learn more about the current market what $300,000 looks like represented in a property etc

3. What do you like to do for fun?

Going to dinner parties with my friends haha I do have a group of friends which like to celebrate every single occasion (Birthdays, job promotions, Canadian holidays, Colombian holidays, new credit approval …stuff like that lol) and meet at different restaurants just to try nice food!

I love going to the gym, planning trips with my family. I am the one that schedules activities.

I love spending time with my daughters. They are my entire life! We always do whatever they like!

4. Why the Beech Woolger Team and not another one?

Well, who doesn’t want to hang out with the most amazing, knowledgeable and fun people in Edmonton? Besides, it is one of the most successful teams.

5. Favourite food?

Seafood all the way! I love my “Sushi Fridays” with my husband.

6. Favorite music?

I like all kinds of music, but I listen to a lot of Reggaeton and Vallenato…you might have to google that!

7. Are you laid back or up tight?

I am a layback person, that’s why I know this business is for me! I don’t take complaints personal, I hardly get offended with any comments.  Even when some people make fun of my accent, I totally get it and I laugh too lol.

8. If you couldn’t be a Realtor® what would you be?

That’s a hard one…I can’t imagine not being a realtor at this point. I think I would work in the property management field.
