Allard, Edmonton

Allard is a neighbourhood in southwest Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that was established in 2007 through the adoption of the Allard Neighbourhood Area Structure Plan (NASP).

Located just minutes away from the Queen Elizabeth Highway in the Heritage Valley area and named after the talented Dr. Charles Alexander Allard – an Edmonton-based surgeon, broadcaster, entrepreneur, innovator, industrialist, philanthropist, and visionary – this Edmonton neighbourhood is equally diverse in what it has to offer.

Allard is conveniently located within a distance to schools – including a K-9 school that will houses over 900 students. Other schools in the area include Donald R. Getty K-9, Roberta McAdams School K-6, and Micheal Strembitsky School 1-9. Allard is a great place to be if you have school-aged children.

It is located within Heritage Valley and was originally considered Neighbourhood 8 within the Heritage Valley Servicing Concept Design Brief (SCDB).

Allard is bounded on the west by the future extension of James Mowatt Trail SW, north by the future 25 Avenue SW, east by the Blackmud Creek and south by the city limits (41 Avenue SW).
