THIS IS US!

Why Real Estate?

DAVE: I was always buying and selling different houses over the years, even at a young age. It always interested me, my wife was already a mortgage broker, so it just made sense to start selling houses.

DUSTIN: I always understood the value of real estate and wanted to help others obtain it also.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

DAVE: Definitely that I get to work alongside family and friends. Most of the time it doesn’t even feel like work!

DUSTIN: Seeing the excitement that clients get when they buy their dream home or a deal goes so smooth, definitely makes it all worth it.

Beech Woolger Team Having FunLeast favourite part of the job?

DAVE: I never like the call you have to make to all the agents who lost out on multiple offers.

DUSTIN: The paperwork. In a world that’s trying to be green-friendly the old real estate dinosaurs make it hard!!

What do you love most about YEG?

DAVE: I love the feel of this winter city. People who have never lived here, don’t understand how awesome it is. Friendliest people on the earth. Also the downtown skyline seen from Connors road or Strathearn drive.

DUSTIN: The people. We meet so many nice people and I rarely have a bad experience with anyone. Everyone is very genuine and truly do have a sense of community and appreciation for YEG.

Where do you go to relax?

DAVE: I enjoy travelling, I can put the phone down for a while and relax. Summertime is always camping, my family and I go as much as possible.

DUSTIN: My backyard with my kids for a BBQ or to the hockey rink to have a few beers with the boys and talk about how close we all were to making it to the show.

Favourite food?

DAVE: During the day, wraps from Remedy. At night, pizza and donairs.

DUSTIN: Anything on the smoker, just did my first brisket, took 13 hours, but was totally worth it!

Food you hate?

DAVE: Mushrooms, Green Peppers, and Onions. And Pineapple on Pizza.

DUSTIN: Anything green. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

Do you have any hidden talents?

DAVE: I can drive a golf ball like Happy Gilmore almost exactly.

DUSTIN: I can make my wife extremely mad in just seconds with very little effort. LOL JK

What would a world populated with clones of you look like?

DAVE: Bald, Hairy bodied, emotionless people driving around in Jeeps. It wouldn’t be good.

DUSTIN: Like a cluster of bees just constantly moving. I’m not very good at slowing down, constant chaos is what I live for.

If someone narrated your life, who’s voice would you choose and why?

DAVE: Probably my wife’s voice because she already likes to tell my stories instead of me telling them.

DUSTIN: Samuel L Jackson LOL JK. Probably Snoop Dogg, but he has to do it like he did the Planet Earth skit. If you haven’t seen it go now, it’s a must watch.

If animals could talk which one would be the most annoying?

DAVE: No way Magpies and Pigeons wouldn’t be annoying.

DUSTIN: A squirrel for sure. They can’t talk and yet they already annoy me constantly at the lake.

What weird potato chip flavour that doesn’t exist would you like to try?

DAVE: My mom used to drive a chip truck. I stopped eating chips in 1996, I think. No flavour would do.

DUSTIN:  Butter Chicken and Chocolate ice cream.Beech Woolger Team Real Estate

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

DAVE: Coronavirus healer for sure. Or be able to grant wishes like a Genie.

DUSTIN: To always know what my wife is thinking. It would really help me with my hidden talent.

Are you a ‘glass half full’ or ‘glass half empty’ type of guy?

DAVE: Half full for sure. Cancer survivor, I usually have a pretty positive outlook on almost everything.

DUSTIN: Half full for sure. Bad attitude is going to always keep you in a bad space.

Favourite sport to play that you’re not good at?

DAVE: Basketball or Foosball. I suck!

DUSTIN:  Ha! I’m terrible at bowling. It’s actually embarrassing!

Toilet paper roll over or under?

DAVE: Never cared TBH

DUSTIN: Over for sure

Favourite movie?

DAVE: Kingpin or Grandmas Boy.

DUSTIN: Any football movie or war movie.

What does the perfect day look like to you?

DAVE: Perfect day for me would be a delicious morning breakfast with my family. A solid workout to get the day going. It would be a sunny day where the roof and doors come off the Jeep. Throw all my daughters friends in the Jeep and hit Whyte Ave and some city parks. Patios to follow for a nice Caesar. Next I’ll be over to the babysitters to drop off kids. It’s too bad the Oilers are out of the playoffs this year, but I’ll still gather with friends, watch hockey, and sip/chug craft beers in someones backyard! Then a backyard fire/hot tub to top it all off! Boom!

DUSTIN: Wake up to already cooked breakfast with lots of bacon and eggs benny, then get on my motorcycle to ride the river valley on my way to the gym. After a great gym session head home to grab my family and head out to a patio somewhere to enjoy the weather and some great food. Before we head home hit up one of Edmonton’s great parks like Laurier or Hawrelak and just let my kids play for as long as they like. Once home, we will cook a great BBQ dinner together while enjoying some quiet time in our backyard. After the kid’s bath time we would all just hit the basement to watch some movies and crush as much junk food as possible until we pass out. That’s the PG version of a great day for me. I also noticed food makes me really happy when I was writing this.

There you have it—us in a nutshell!
